Our mission
Our aim is to tell the international community about everyday heroic deeds of both ordinary Ukrainians and also our unequalled Armed Forces. Our special releases of whisky will be dedicated to them specifically, and the funds from the sale will be transferred to the needs of Ukrainian Army and Territorial Defense Forces, to the treatment of those who have suffered from the armed hostilities, to help medical institutions, charity and humanitarian institutions, etc. The Scots call whisky “Aqua Vitae” (The Water of Life), so let this Water of Life help bring the peace back to the Ukrainian land and heal its wounds!

#RESISTANCEUA
The war with Russian aggressor has demonstrated the unity and courage of the Ukrainian people to the whole world. Ukrainians are fighting for their freedom, for the right to choose the future of their children and country independently as well as for the right to live in their homeland! And they are ready to stand for their truth even barehanded. In Kherson Ukrainian policeman keeping Ukrainian flag in his hands jumped on the enemy APC which was moving in occupational column and he rode atop it through the city streets! In temporarily occupied Berdyansk and Melitopol, Kherson and Enerhodar, Kakhovka and Slavutych, Heniches’k, Kalanchak, Novooleksiyivka, Skadovs’k, Chaplynka, Novotroyits’ke and other Ukrainian towns and cities local people went to the protest rallies with banners and chant protest slogans: “Kherson, Enerhodar, Berdyansk, etc. - is Ukraine!” and “Occupants go home!”, the locals were standing unarmed in front of the armed Russian military and enemy military equipment and singing the Anthem of Ukraine!
The story of the Ghost of Kyiv began during the first days of war, when severe air combats were in action in the skies over Ukraine.People were telling each other stories about MIG-29 pilot who was said to have won six air-to-air combats in the skies over Kyiv during the first 30 hours of Kyiv offensive, about the way he turns up next to the enemy plane out of the blue and defeats it.
The one who was guarding Kyiv skies was called “The Ghost of Kyiv”. His image has helped to boost the morale of Ukrainians and inspired the faith in the Victory.
Today the story of “The Ghost” is far beyond a story of one flying ace: all Ukrainian fighter-pilots have become a legend.

#INDEPENDENTUA
Ukraine’s way to Independence had been a long one: from Kyivan Rus period to its contemporary times starting in 1991 with the Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine. We have demonstrated that Ukraine’s established itself as a sovereign state, that Ukrainians are capable of consolidating democratic values and defend their freedom, sovereignty and territorial integrity. This recognition is proven with the fact that the anthem of Ukrainian Sich Riflemen “Oi, u luzi chervona kalyna” (Oh, the Red Viburnum in the Meadow), which was sung on August, 24, 1991 in The Verkhovna Rada, has been sung worldwide since February, 24, 2022 as a sign of Ukraine’s support.
Ukrainians have paid heavily during their fight for the sovereignty: the Holodomor, the Holocaust, deportations and wars have taken millions of lives. That’s why the words “'Ukraine has not yet perished” are becoming particularly important. And today, when the enemy is trying to eliminate our country again, we say: “It hasn’t perished yet and it won’t! We’re strong and alive! We continue to move forward! This is the only possibility to win and to make our tomorrow better!”

It’s hard to find a person who doesn’t love Christmas. It returns us not only to our childhood, but it is a chain connecting generations. When we are decorating the house, preparing traditional dishes, going to church, we do the same thing that our ancestors did throughout the ages. However, Christmas is not only a time to observe traditions, but also a time to do something good for those less fortunate. This is the only way to truly live with the spirit of Christmas and pass it on to the next generations.
Today, the children of Ukraine need family comfort and a warm holiday more than ever. And we have prepared a release of Ardlair whisky called ChristmasUA to support them together with the whisky community and the spirit of Christmas. All profits from the sale of this release will go to help children whose parents died defending Ukraine.
#GUNPOWDERUA
On March 19, 2022, we started our project. This year, with your help and support, we directed more than 48,000 euros to charity. This is our contribution to the common struggle, because it is national unity, when everyone does something to protect their country, that has become the basis of successful resistance. In this war, Ukraine defends its European choice, its identity and values as part of the European ones.
Today every Ukrainian has one goal and one aim - Victory! And the smoky taste of whisky will no longer remind us of the gunpowder smoke that spreads over the Ukrainian land!
#COUNTEROFFENSIVEUA
From February 24, 2022, a year has passed since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of russian troops into Ukraine. During it, Ukrainians heroically defended their land and demonstrated to the world examples of courage, resilience, boldness, intelligence and unity in the face of a cruel enemy.
Last year was the year of Invincibility. We call the coming year the year of the Counteroffensive. We believe that he will be decisive and bring Ukraine the long-awaited Victory!!!
It will definitely be, because the darkest night is before the dawn!
#CHARACTERUA
Since the advent of the Kievan Rus who founded Ukraine, Ukrainians have distinguished themselves by
hard work, hospitality and a benevolence to others. Whilst we are calm and careful we can also be
sentimental, sometimes too trusting and emotional. However, when it comes to our country, Ukrainians
throughout the centuries have shown a steely resilience in our character coupled with an everlasting
determination to defend our land and maintain our freedom-loving society. When it comes to protecting
those we love, our homes and our ideals, as sadly the aggressor state, Russia has forced us, Ukrainians
have demonstrated an implacable, unbreakable and resourceful stubborn resistance that is at once
capable of self organisation, which demonstrates the heroism and self-sacrifice needed for us to prevail.
#INTELLIGENCEUA
Today, the entire world witnesses the remarkable achievements of Ukrainian intelligence, and it fills us
with pride. These intelligence officers, embodying modernity, dynamism, and creativity, adeptly
navigate the harsh realities of a bloody and brutal conflict. Standing united with the defenders from
various units of Ukraine's Defense Forces, they edge us closer to our shared triumph. While the large-
scale war of aggression has necessitated some modifications in their operations, such instances are
outliers rather than the norm. This is because the core of military intelligence work inherently excludes
public disclosure of its activities.
This statement is in honor of the scouts - the unseen Ukrainian heroes !!!

After the Second World War, Europe was divided by the Iron Curtain. In some places, this division was a
notional split along border lines, while in others, it manifested as a very tangible wall that bisected a
country. Despite formidable barriers, the indomitable spirit of people yearning for justice and freedom
dismantled those walls and curtains. Today, Ukraine stands as a bastion safeguarding not only its own
rights to choice, freedom, and independence but also the freedoms of the broader democratic world.
Ukrainians have embarked on a path toward justice and victory, ensuring the Iron Curtain remains a relic
of the past, relegated to history where it belongs.

#PROTECTUAUASEA
Marine drones not new in the world of defence technology and have been used around the world for many years.
The main areas of development of marine drones were reconnaissance ships, drones for protecting from combat swimmers and scouts, as well as unmanned minesweepers. Nevertheless, marine kamikaze drones was not in demand until recently, because they were considered unnecessary in the presence of numerous anti-ship missiles, torpedoes etc.
However, with the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the situation has changed radically. Unique Ukrainian marine drones, Sea Baby and Magura, having entered into a confrontation with the russian navy forces, demonstrated their high efficiency and made a significant contribution in the protecting of the Ukrainian sea.
#BEESQUADUA
Each of our whisky releases is a small “time capsule” that tells about a certain episode of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. We would like to tell you about drones which are very important nowadays. Drones can be scouts, bombers, kamikaze etc. Drones are long-range, low-cost, and energy-efficient, and can be used in the air, on land, and at sea. A special place in this list is occupied by air FPV-drones. FPV drones can be used for reconnaissance, surveillance, and even offensive operations. Especially replace artillery, for which there is a lack of ammunition. The massive use of FPV drones in combat operations between Ukrainian and russian forces has radically changed the picture of modern warfare. Successful use of one or more cheap drones can destroy equipment worth millions of dollars.
And the main advantage provided by the use of drones is the preservation of the lives of our defenders.
